Food Glorious Food – A Dickensian Christmas

We first meet our Blue Badge Guide in Central London for morning tea and coffee. You’ll see the old markets in London that Charles Dickens wrote of in his stories and hear all about the cockney favourites. A fish and chip lunch is included. In the afternoon we get to see how the other half lived as we celebrate a Dickensian Christmas. We visit Mayfair and Piccadilly, with a walk through the opulent Burlington Arcade. See the impeccable young men in red tail coats stack the shelves at Fortnum & Mason. A great location to find those stocking fillers. Time in the afternoon to relax and have a cup of tea before we head home around 5pm.
