Groombridge Place & Gardens

Famous as the setting for the 2005 adaptation of Jane Austen’s ‘Pride and Prejudice’, Groombridge boasts beautiful gardens with peacocks roaming the grounds and a forest full of mystery, including pretty tree-lined forest paths with water pools, giant tree swings, a raised board walk with zip wires and rope swings, and a maze for the children to enjoy.

Explore the sprawling land at your leisure, discovering ‘The Knot Garden’ that boasts a wonderful display of tulips and a Giant Chessboard to entertain visitors of all ages. Search for ‘The Secret Garden’ by following the hidden passageways through the grounds to unearth the beautiful blue agapanthus, foxgloves and gazania. 

We recommend you bring a packed lunch to enjoy as a picnic in the gardens. 

2018 Pick-up Routes: As per the brochure we will now be running a Northbound or Southbound route on all trips. When booking please select your preferred pick-up point. Your pick-up time and routes will then be confirmed at least 1 week before date of travel.
