We start at Sheffield Park Gardens - acres of landscape garden bordered by historic parkland and woodland, this is a horticultural work of art formed through centuries of landscape design, with influences of 'Capability' Brown and Humphry Repton. Four lakes form the heart of the garden, with paths circulating through the glades and wooded areas surrounding them.
In the afternoon a short coach trip takes us to Sheffield Park station. The Bluebell Railway is a heritage line running for 11 miles along the border between East and West Sussex. Step back in time and board one of the steam trains for a ride to the extension section at East Grinstead. Absorb the ambiance of steam train travel whilst taking in breathtaking views of the Sussex scenery. On board you will also be served a traditional cream tea.
Please confirm pick up location at time of booking, your pick up time will then be confirmed one week before travel.
