Windsor Castle and Savill Garden

Our first stop for the day is Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British Kings and Queens for almost 1,000 years. It is an official residence of Her Majesty The Queen. Windsor is still very much a working royal palace with stately rooms and gardens that are part of the visit. Plenty of time is offered to get lunch in the town before we re-join the coach.

In the afternoon we head of to another part of Windsor Great Park, Savill Garden, with a Royal history spanning centuries. You will encounter historical monuments, ancient forests and stunning horticultural displays as well as rare wildlife, plants and fungi - so whatever your interest, there will be something to excite and amaze you.
