Two Castles and a Chateau

With a host of excursion possibilities within easy reach of our tour base, we have combined some of the most impressive with less visited gems in the region,  including a little known canal boat trip and Waddesdon Manor - a Rothschild House & Gardens in Buckinghamshire.

Travel

Your comfort is our priority and all travel arrangements have been made with this in mind. Comfort stops will always be planned en route for lunch/refreshments. We will arrive at the hotel in the late afternoon, where your luggage will be taken to your room (unless otherwise specified) and you will have plenty of time to freshen up before the evening meal. Return travel will follow a similar schedule.

Your Hotel: Marriott Hotel, Northampton

Located just 2 miles south from the centre of the town, the 4 star Delta by Marriott Northampton Hotel is set in landscaped gardens, overlooking a peaceful lake. There are 120 air-conditioned rooms each with trouser press, iron & ironing board, tea/coffee service,  cable/satellite TV, mini-bar and hair dryer.  There is an open plan cafe/bar and stylish restaurant, where breakfast and dinner are served. There is no lift at this hotel, but ground floor bedrooms are available. The hotel has one room adapted with a wet room with all the remaining rooms being shower over the bath.

Excursions

All of our excursions are included in the holiday price unless otherwise specified. In addition to the planned activities, most excursions will allow plenty of free time for you to explore our well-chosen destinations. If you prefer to make other arrangements or just relax at the hotel instead of any of the excursions, you are welcome to do so. If so, we kindly ask you to please inform your driver. We will depart after breakfast and return in the late afternoon or early evening, to enable you to freshen up before your evening meal.
