Blackpool is a seaside resort on the Irish Sea coast of England. It's known for Blackpool Pleasure Beach, an old-school amusement park with vintage wooden roller coasters. Built in 1894, the landmark Blackpool Tower houses a circus, a glass viewing platform and the Tower Ballroom, where dancers twirl to the music of a Wurlitzer organ. Whilst here we enjoy the world-famous illuminations, an annual light show along the Promenade.
Travel
Your comfort is our priority and all travel arrangements have been made with this in mind. Comfort stops will always be planned en route for lunch/refreshments. We will arrive at the hotel in the late afternoon, where your luggage will be taken to your room (unless otherwise specified) and you will have plenty of time to freshen up before the evening meal. Return travel will follow a similar schedule.

On Blackpool seafront, The Royal Boston Hotel is a 5-minute drive from the Blackpool Tower. This hotel has a bar and restaurant and offers nightly entertainment. Each room has a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee facilities and an en suite or private bathroom with shower. The Royal Boston Hotel is a 9-minute drive from Blackpool Zoo and around 10 minutes’ drive from Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The Grand Theatre and Winter Gardens are 5 minutes’ drive away.

Excursions
All of our excursions are included in the holiday price unless otherwise specified. In addition to the planned activities, most excursions will allow plenty of free time for you to explore our well-chosen destinations. If you prefer to make other arrangements or just relax at the hotel instead of any of the excursions, you are welcome to do so. If so, we kindly ask you to please inform your driver. We will depart after breakfast and return in the late afternoon or early evening, to enable you to freshen up before your evening meal.
